Jeff took a week (some say "much needed") of vacation. We decided to spend the first half of the week at Lower Grant Lake in Yosemite. Actually, we decided to spend the time in that area, scouting to different lakes in the "10-Lakes" area, but it turned out to be just the one lake. There was plenty to do and see at this beautiful, remote location. The hike in was much more difficult than we planned, and our packs were much heavier than they needed to be. Next time, we'll bring some lighter equipment and better packs. We look forward to doing it again.
